New Makeover at VGS!

Well, we are coming up on our 10 year anniversary here at Village Gift Shoppe and wanted to do a major makeover here at the shoppe. So we asked one of our neighbors that live in the apartment over the shoppe to help us rearrange and decorate the inside to celebrate the special occasion.

Here are some pics of all the redecorating that Ian did for us. He's very handy with the power tools and not afraid to do and create! We want to thank him for all that he did those 2 full days in here!

We used all the old doors, shutters, windows and all the things that we had stored out back for years and only used when we did shows.

WooHoo!!!!!!!!!! Joyce has been on a roll this week! Halloween is drawing closer every day and we SO don't want it to end. Joyce has so many more ideas for Halloween goodies and not enought time in the day to get them all done! I'm sure that she will still continue to create and sneak in a few Halloween related items thoughout the year though.....after all Halloween is all year round!

Meet Penelope Pumpkin!

Meet Miss Penelope pumpkin.......isn't she a cutie? She stands about 40" tall, so she's a big girl! Wouldn't she be the perfect little door greeter this halloween season! We're selling chances on her (50 cents each or 3 for for a $1.00) and will draw the lucky winner at our Fall Open House which will be held on Saturday October 18th from 10-6pm and Sunday October 19th from 12 to 5pm.

Newest Enchanted Production Dolls on Ebay this week!

I'm so sorry that I haven't posted the last doll of Joyce's! Keeping up with 2 blogs can be very time consuming! So.....I really do apologize and I will try to do better in the months to come!


Newly listed just last night is this amazing creation! She's Aunt Cordelia and she's a victorian gothic doll. I just love when Joycee makes this kind of doll! She's full of vintage trims, a vintage fleur de lis pin and a vintage victorian coin purse is attached to her waist! Most of these were purchased during our trip out west to California for Pfatt Fest 2008 and were purchased at the Alameda flea market and from Wendy Addison. They are true vintage finds and really add a nice detail to this OOAK doll!

The little gothic umbrella is completely hand made by Joycee! Hours of sweat and labor and a few choice words were put into this adorable little creation...I'm sure! LOL
