Joyce's Last Doll of 2008............

...........and Joyce has decided to go back to her passion which is Halloween and creepy and FUN! We hope you enjoy this little guy!

He's a hauntingly pudgy chap....don't you think? May we introduce Friar Timothy Mort! He's one of those proper English ghosts.

(And like all good little ghosts.... he even has his own ORB in this picture!)

Friar Timothy Mort
Is a vaporous sort
And haunts the Abbey ruins
At Surrey.

He rattles his bones
And chuckles and moans
And causes the tourists to scurry!

Two Newest Enchanted Production Make Do Snowball Dolls on eBay!

I'd like you to meet Fussy Felicia! Felicia is one of the little ones that has kept Joyce on her toes for the past few weeks! Nothing seems to suit her........especially her hat! She's always pulling at it! (Psssssst! By the way....she hates her hat!) It's all she can do to keep that hat on her!

Just click here to go see Felicia on eBay!

In Joyce's last auction, she introduced you to Sidney, the Snowball........who was a part of a gang of snowballs hanging out here with her at the Enchanted Productions Studio! Well....they're still here....swinging from the curtains......begging to play board games......and pretty much driving her crazy most of the time! They do have a tendency to get into a wee bit of trouble too.....if you don't keep an eye on them.......but they're basically a good group! And if they do get out of hand......all you have to do is let them see you start to preheat the oven! They straighten up pretty quick then!!!!! LOL!

Here's the link to go see little Sidney on eBay!

Joyce's Newest Enchanted Production on eBay!

I'd like you to meet Sidney, the Snowball! Sidney, and his other snowball friends (Believe me....they're quite a crew and you'll get meet them all in the upcoming days) have been hanging out with Joyce at the Enchanted Productions studio. They can be quite a rambunctious and boisterous little group.......especially when they're bored......so she's been trying to keep them entertained with board games, but even she can only play Mystery Date just so many times! Anyway.......today a magical hush fell over the studio and you could've heard a pin drop. You see......it started to snow today and that's what they've all been waiting for! She wishes you could've seen them! All lined up together, side by side, with their little faces pressed up against the window! It was just precious! The silence was pretty delightful too......for a change!

The Only Thing Missing..............

...........was the snow! We had a great Christmas Open House last weekend but the only thing missing was the snow! LOL And we got that yesterday.....just a week late! But it's probably for the best because the roads were getting pretty nasty.

Thank you Nathan for helping us put up the greenery, bows, lights and grapevine the night before the open house! We were out there until 9:00pm and the air was quite chilly! It's the prettiest that our shoppe front has ever looked!

I don't think that I've shown a picture of our newest Village Gift Shoppe Sign. This is our 3rd one since we opened 9 years ago. The weather sure does take a toll on them!

We hope this one lasts for many years to come! Thank You to John Metzger and the Indian Valley High School Industrial Arts/Woodworking class for doing such a great job! Hope and I painted and stained it this past spring and her hubby and her got it hung while I was in California. The last time that the PFATTies were in Ohio and got to come visit, our poor sign was in sad shape. The banner that my friend Sam made us features our old sign, but she used her photo editing skills and made it look so pretty! I remember her telling me that we needed a new sign after she took that picture! lol

*SALE* Enchanted Productions Pumpkin Doll!

Joyce had this little sweetheart leftover from this fall. Winter has snuck up on us too quickly! We've decided to relist her with a BIN of $59.99 and FREE SHIPPING too!!! You certainly can't beat that and she would make the perfect christmas gift for anyone that adores pumpkins or collects fall or Halloween too.

Here's her link if you would like to go purchase her!

Dover High School Band Booster's Show............

I thought I would share some pics of our set up in the hallway from this past weekend's show. We were set up in the hallway outside of the cafeteria. So we really got to spread out. We kept our display right up against the lockers so our customers could see easier and with it all spread out, they had more room to view things without having people standing in their way.

Some little prim dollies in our black cradle........

Our awesome podium that we take to shows. A special thank you to Stacey of Tattered 'n Torn Prims and her hubby for custom making this for us several years back. I purchased the vintage ceiling tin tile off of eBay. It came from a saloon in Montana! See Joycee's Mischief black cat sitting up there for all to admire?

There's Penelope standing there! Lots of people at the show bought tickets for a chance to win her..........

Prim goodies, Mercantile Gatherings magazines in the fall basket and Laura's stacked pumpkin blocks. Those little block sayings in the bowl were a hit! They have the cutest sayings on them!

You can see how long our dispay was in this pic...........

A special THank You to Joycee, Memo, Laura, Lincoln and Riley for helping us haul in, set up, and tear down! We got it all done in record time!! YEAH!!!

Our Ohio State Buckeyes section was very popular with the shoppers there.......

Our black Halloween tree with little prim ornies. Best comment of the show overheard by Memo...."Oh.....it's a black tree.........Oh, it's a halloween tree................Oh, that's wrong............that's just all wrong." Some people just don't get it! I should write a book on all the overheard comments made at shows.........LOL!

Our vintage door with our ceiling tin tile star. We also use vintage shutters to hang things from. Why is it that everyone always wants to by our display pieces? LOL

Joycee's newest style dolls are sitting on top of the cupboard. They are paper clay over cloth and I'm trying to talk her into listing at least one on eBay. Leave your comments on this post to try to convince her too. She thinks people won't like them because they are different than her other dolls. Let's all convince her otherwise............

Show sales were down from last year, but we expected that with everything that is going on with the economy and this being election year too.

Wish you all could have came to see us! Remember that our Village Gift Shoppe Fall Open House is this weekend too! We hope you have time to stop by and see us at 106 N. Walnut Street in historical downtown Gnadenhutten, OH. We'll have free door prizes and refreshments for all!

And don't forget to sign up for a chance to win Miss Penelope pumpkin. Tickets are 50 cents each or 3 for $1.00. We'll draw the lucky winners name on Sunday October 19th at the end of the day when we draw the door prize winners names..........

New Enchanted Productions Doll on eBay!

Joyce has made another adorable doll that's listed on eBay this week...........

Today I'd like to introduce to you.....Devilynn.....she's quite the little she-devil......but she's also two dollies in one. As I was working on Devilynn, I realized that....if not for the horns and pitchfork......she'd make a GREAT Valentine's Day doll. That's when the light bulb went off in my head. Everyone loves a good deal....and a "two for one" dollie sure fits that description. So....I've designed Devilynn to not only play the roll of a "She-devil" this Halloween, but she can also play the part of a "Devilish Sweetheart" next Valentine's Day! Her devil horns are only pinned into place....so they can be removed at Valentine's Day....if you wish. I've also given her two separate staffs to hold.....one for each holiday.
